Job Summary:
The Executive Director, Change Acceleration will provide program management and execution leadership of change initiatives to support key organizational objectives by increasing employee understanding, adoption and engagement. The focus will be on the people-impacting aspects of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing Change Acceleration strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Executive Director of Change Acceleration will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. This position will work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Executive Director will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. He/she may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Executive Director, Change Acceleration will also support project teams in integrating Change Acceleration activities into their project plans.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for enterprise-wide strategic change initiatives
• Support leaders in the chartering of initiatives and identifying measures of success
• Partner with leaders and project management in the identification of Change Acceleration Network
• Complete Change Acceleration assessments: Prosci PCT, Risk Assessment and CMROI
• Facilitate Role-based Training: Sponsor, Change Acceleration certification, Delivering Project Results, Manager and employee education
• Facilitate impact, sponsor and resistance analysis
• Facilitate the development of Change Acceleration Plans
• Partner with SMEs in the development of Communication and Training plans to support the change
• Support the implementation of the targeted change
• Ensure post implementation assessment of end-user adoption and utilization of the change
• Identify and implement reinforcement plans
• Ensure ongoing stakeholder updates and identification of ROI
• Case Study development of change initiatives
• Support communication & training efforts
• Coach managers and supervisors
• Support the ongoing adoption of the Prosci Change Acceleration framework and tools into Comcast organization
• Facilitate leader, manager and employee Prosci training and certification
• Participate in Change Acceleration Quality Committee
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
• Experience and knowledge of Change Acceleration principles, methodologies and tools
• Significant experience is design and development of change management initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Forward looking with a holistic approach
• Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills, lean/six sigma expertise a plus
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience and knowledge of Prosci methodologies and tools.
Job Specification:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. Masters or MBA strongly desired in organization development/organization effectiveness.
• Generally requires 14+ years related experience
Certifications:
• Prosci Change Acceleration Certification, preferred.
• Completion of Prosci Train-the-trainer Certification within 90 days of employment.
