The Role:
This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced Sales Coordinator. You will have a chance to support a small team of high energy sales professionals that are passionate about contributing to Bell Media’s goal to be recognized as the preeminent media organization helping organization promote its brand and business objectives. The Sales Coordinator to the US Multi-Platform Sales team will be an integral part of the team in supporting Bell Media Sales in the US Market.
Responsibilities:
• Support the U.S. Account Executives on all aspects of their sales process
• Assist with proposals and presentations
• Manage contract discrepancies, shifts and revision requests
• Handle the booking and confirmation process
• Manage the make good/pre-emption and program changes with the buyers
• Prepare posts
• Coordination of pre-comp and log fill
• Assist traffic with missing materials
• Maintain contract files
• Liaise effectively with all sales support functions, including Traffic, Research, Programming, Brand Partnerships, and Revenue Management across all platforms.
Critical Competencies:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution;
• Minimum of 1 year Bell Media experience
• A highly developed internal and external client service orientation
• Self-motivated with excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Must demonstrate high energy, enthusiasm, motivation and confidence
• Exceptional ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure of deadlines and last minute revisions
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Superior interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Power Point
Preferred Competencies:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Broadcast experience preferred
• Experience using Sales Force
• Experience using RepPak
• Desire, willingness and flexibility to travel
Possess a valid passport and driver's license.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
