Cash Structured Products- Product Analyst
The Cash Structured Product on Bloomberg provides comprehensive, timely and accurate data and analytics to the Bloomberg Core terminal and all other facets of the Bloomberg Professional offering suite. This global team is looking for a Product Analyst to join the team in New York, to enhance quality standards and metrics, and improve the consistency and dependability of the Cash Structured products data and derived results that power all aspects of the Bloomberg product offering.
As a product analyst on the team, we will trust you to:
Investigate differences between production and beta environments to resolve rationale for delta’s
Reduce delivery time of new functionality by crafting, building and implementing process improvements
Work with Engineering to develop scenarios and granular tests cases to compare against proposed system improvements
Enhance Product offerings by communicating functionality gaps within the existing offering and help with the prioritizing of implementing solutions
Understand and communicate gaps or changes in alternative/competitor vendor solutions
Take ownership of project lifecycles and liaison with other product, sales and Engineering teams, to communicate development opportunities to appropriate Core Product Managers
Help execute on the overall business plan for the team including working on product releases, training and customer interaction
You’ll need to have:Minimum of 5 years experience in a wide spectrum of Cash Structured Products security types, including ( Agency Pool & CMO, Non-Agency Residential, Asset Backed, CMBS, CLO & International structured assets)
Understanding of how market movements of rates and collateral effect cash of various types of cash structured products
Willingness to learn complex business and technology processes and actively contribute to their evolution
We’d love to see:
Scripting, coding capabilities
Understanding of prepayment and credit models
Understanding of Cash Structured Products cashflow modeling
