Role
This is a unique individual contributor position at Autodesk. You will work with a smart, cross-functional team that is responsible for building and managing marketing programs for our industry-leading AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Maya software products (and a few others). Your job is to make the team successful. You will help us plan and execute large, complex marketing programs on time and on budget. It requires a unique combination of marketing experience, business acumen, project management, communication, and leadership skills. And at the heart of it, you have love to get things done.
Responsibilities
• Provide leadership of cross-functional teams to align initiatives and execute to the AutoCAD and Media & Entertainment strategic vision.
• Convert program requirements to executable deliverables; develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
• Organize program activities and related meetings.
• Identify and communicate program scope and ensure critical paths, milestones and all objectives are met.
• Develop and deliver professional written and spoken communications that ensure team members and leadership have clear, concise, and up-to-date information on progress.
• Work with teams and individuals to mitigate conflicts and resolve issues as needed. Leverage cross-organizational relationships for support, and escalate in a savvy manner.
• Establish and lead execution of new processes as needed to ensure ongoing program success.
• Curate, analyze, and present data to solve problems, drive change, and improve performance.
• Ensure clear definition of program success and present results against targets.
Skills and Qualifications
• A proven marketing program manager (create plans, manage budgets, schedules, allocate resources, etc.)
• Change champion, motivator, and coach; demonstrated success delivering meaningful results through teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent relationship management and expectation setting skills
• Familiarity with selling concepts and best practices; experience working with sales teams
• Excellent writer and speaker
• Proficient with MS Office tools, particularly Excel (do you love pivot tables?) and PowerPoint
• A PowerPoint master (we’ll ask you to share samples of your best work)
• Familiar with Marketo and/or SFDC
• Comfortable with remote video collaboration tools e.g., Skype, Zoom, Go-to-Meeting, etc.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment with unending optimism
Requirements
• BA/BS degree in marketing or communications
• 12+ years professional marketing experience in the high-tech industry (software industry experience preferred)
