Finance Manager, FP&A – Business Strategy & Marketing (BSM) Spend
Autodesk Finance offers a challenging and exciting environment for finance professionals. This role manages three financial analysts as well as works directly with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) in BSM to track and forecast spend for the BSM division.
This position requires a need for accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and flexibility. Effective communication, thorough self-review of your work product, proactive inquiry and the ability to collaborate well with a team are attributes that are required to be successful in this role. The position will report directly to the Sr. Manager - FP&A Spend.
Main Job Responsibilities
• Manage a team of three financial analysts
• Drive the quarterly and monthly forecasting cycles for BSM spend.
• Work closely with FBPs to track headcount including to-be-hired activity and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Own quarter-end activities including tracking actuals, submitting journal entries and being the primary liaison between Corporate Accounting and the BSM Division Finance team.
• Collaborate with the Divisional Spend Team and FBPs to support overall division spend processes.
• Lead special projects including building new models/templates, revamping existing processes, and ad-hoc analyses that arise as the BSM business changes.
Job Requirements
• BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA encouraged
• 5+ years finance experience
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting spend and doing financial analysis
• Excellent skills in communicating, listening, planning, and time management
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong aptitude and expertise with desktop applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP, BPC and Business Objects is a plus
• This position is based in San Francisco, CA
