MANAGER, GLOBAL TALENT ACQUISITION PROGRAMS
SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT
The Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Programs will focus on key strategic initiatives to build and develop a pool of talented interns and early career professionals. Areas of focus will include, internships, early career hiring, diversity recruiting, and campus recruiting. The program includes undergraduate, graduate, MBA, and other specialty internships and trainees.
Successful candidates have a reputation for being exceptional at networking, relationship building and driving key relationships, as well as strong communication and facilitation skills. You must have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage work time efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute intern and trainee hiring strategy
• Lead on-going enhancement of internship and early career program(s) including making necessary program or process improvements
• Provide data analytics related to hiring, diversity, and conversion
• Lead full-cycle recruitment process including internship postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing top candidates
• Coordinate and manage recruiting events (on-campus and virtual)
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to develop and drive highly competitive internship program(s)
• Manage the full-cycle of intern recruiting initiatives which includes working closely with the SPE community to identify intern talent needs, coordinate recruitment efforts, and manage internship timing and deadlines
• Cultivate key partnerships with universities and organizations as main contact on behalf of SPE
• Plan and execute all intern activities for the studio (i.e. new hire orientations, professional networking activities, development days etc.)
• Stay abreast of campus recruiting and world-class internship trends and best practices
• Focus on developing social media strategies to market the program nationwide
• Identify high potential interns for full-time, entry-level pipelines
• Oversee onboarding and off-boarding for all interns
Qualifications
• A minimum of 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience with at least two years of experience in campus recruiting. Experience in entertainment or media industry experience a plus, experience with early career or rotational programs a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, Internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets
• Experience with social media tools, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
• Experience in employment brand management
• Experience in diversity recruiting
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results
• Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often-times ambiguous environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional polish, maturity and the ability to interact with senior business leaders
