The Publishing Development & Author Platforms team is seeking a coordinator to join their group to support daily operations and special projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, regular administrative functions such as assisting with scheduling, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
In addition, the position will serve as back-up support for our Author Portal and will also assist in project work related to the development of new content and author platform formats, such as author-based podcasting and e-course programs. Such project work will range from business analytics and market research to supporting program and content development. The position will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with all the various publishing groups across Penguin Random House.
Requirements:
Candidate must be able to juggle multiple projects at one time and set priorities among them. Excellent communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to pay attention to detail, are also required. It is essential that the candidate is comfortable working in a small team environment and therefore possesses a proactive and independent approach to work, including excellent research and problem-solving skills. Candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience with Google Analytics, SEO and Social Media management are a plus.
