Job Description
The Game Designer designs game systems and mechanics in line with the design and creative visions to achieve the best player experience.
• Autonomously defines one or several parts of the game system with respect to the creative direction;
• Produces design or technical documents for part of the project;
• Analyzes and anticipates the behaviors of game systems;
• Uses game and player knowledge to support propositions and choices with references;
• Communicates work regularly with other job families;
• Provides constructive feedback on all areas of the game;
• Is able to distribute elements in a way that optimizes learning.
Qualifications
Job requirements:
• Enthusiasm and desire to work in the game development industry;
• Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation in English;
• Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.;
• Extensive game culture and ability to analyze game design in a market context;
• Ability to manage his/her own time and work within deadlines;
• Fluency in English – written and spoken;
• Previous 3+ years of experience in games development and at least one shipped project.
