Summary:
The Junior Creative Designer for the Communications team will be responsible for supporting conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet communication strategies and supports revenue driving goals of the organization. This position will partner with other designers and business units to develop, design and deploy national branding communications and internal communications. They will liase with the Communications team, and other Kernel team members to create and implement various materials and communications.
Responsibilities:
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Actively participate in discussions and planning around communication strategies and development
• Assume a role in quality control around customer and associate facing graphic elements.
• Ensure brand guideline consistency in all designed projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with team members
• In tune with latest digital market trends and techniques
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• The ideal candidate has 2+ years of previous experience in marketing communications and designing creative concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of corportate communication design and email deployment platforms
• Knowledge of media marketing terminology and media advertising techniques
• Have a proven track record of developing high quality, creative and compelling concepts for multi-platform advertising.
• Proven ability to work in fast paced environment where demands and directions of work are changing, while manage several projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite Products including Photoshop, HTML and code editors.
