Job Description
Your Adventure
The Production Systems Engineering Intern is responsible for extending and maintaining existing tools to monitor build systems and dependencies.
Responsibilities
• Create kibana dashboards to display build machine metrics
• Implement cachet monitoring configurations for different build system dependencies
• Carry out other related tasks
Qualifications
Your Skills
• Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Knowledge in Linux environments (Bash, cron)
• Knowledge in data interchange formats (JSON, XML, YML)
Good to Have
• Knowledge in source configuration management (Git, perforce)
• Knowledge in web servers (Nginx, apache)
• Knowledge in interacting with RESTful API
• Knowledge in elasticsearch and related technologies (logstash, beat, kibana)
• Knowledge in cloud technology (Openstack, AWS)
• Knowledge in configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
Internship is applicable only for undergraduates enrolled in local institutions and the stint must be recognised by the school. Applicants must be able to commit for between 4 – 6 months on a full-time basis, preferably starting in Apr 2017.
