Job Summary:
Responsible for scheduling and ensuring commercial advertisements air on cable networks per a client's contract. Works with moderate
supervision/guidance. Is accountable for individual results and impact on team.
Core Responsibilities:
-Inputs the titles of client advertisements into database and implements the instructions for campaign. Reviews contracts for accuracy, and works with Sales to resolve issues and manages changes and missing instructions/content as appropriate.
-Maximizes billing opportunities by evaluating sold and scheduled inventory and adjusting client approved new ad placement or schedules.
-Reviews the status of a client's advertising schedule. Revises and replaces copy based on client/agency instructions for advertising broadcast schedules.
-Sends final schedules or executes set up and QC in Ad Server as necessary.
-Performs an Order Verification report and reconciles against Advertising contract/Insertion Order.
-Reviews and manages unverified spots.
-Assists in maintenance of files.
-Handles billing inquiries.
-Communicates regularly and effectively with Sales Department regarding the status of a client's advertising schedule, including ads that were not scheduled or did not air/display as purchased.
-Works on special projects as assigned.
-Communicates to the appropriate party when regarding late or missing content.
-Performs month-close update procedures.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
• High School or Equivalent
• Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
