MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Responsible for protecting Charter’s critical data assets.
Provides security strategy to better secure IT data assets such as data bases, applications, networks, cloud systems and identity management systems.
Collaborates closely with Enterprise Architecture functions.
Responsible for the Operations and of all IT Security Systems to include Cyber Defense tools, Anti-Virus, DLP, Web Filtering etc..
Champions the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's security posture.
Manages IT Security Budgets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Expert level knowledge and understanding of technology across various domains
Advanced understanding of telecommunications industry, technology and trends
Goal oriented, with exemplary track record in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and driving results, especially via influence management
Ability to exercise, on a regular basis, independent judgment and discretion in performance of job duties
Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the top talent
Proven ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication material
Ability to comfortably and successfully present ideas to various audiences from front line employees to company executives
Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure. Distills it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, taking into account a high degree of uncertainty Experience relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties
Keeps clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports updated based on their information needs
Strong technical skills with knowledge of a wide variety of tools and technologies and extensive knowledge in a subset of these skills
Ability to forecast and manage organization, operational and project budgets
Experience leading others and providing constructive feedback
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities

BA/BS in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience
