Position Summary
Theatrical Publicity (NEW YORK CITY):The Lionsgate theatrical national & field publicity teams work closely together in all publicity initiatives across the U.S. and handle all talent relations. The intern’s daily tasks are extremely varied and include but aren’t limited to: compiling daily film breaks, managing press lists, editing press notes, building talent schedules, researching creative projects, in addition to some basic administrative tasks. The intern will help the team plan and execute major events such as genre conventions, film festivals, film premieres, special screenings and press junkets/press days. An ideal candidate is an organized individual with a passion for film, strong writing skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Lionsgate Internship Program – Fall 2017
Santa Monica, CA / September 11 – December 1, 2017 / 20 hours per week maximum
LIONSGATE is the leading independent filmed entertainment studio with a strong and diversified presence in motion pictures, television programming, home entertainment, family entertainment, video-on-demand and digital distribution of content.
The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to provide interested students with a hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.

Important Dates:
• The Lionsgate Summer Internship Semester will run from September 11 – December 1, 2017.
• The last day to apply is Friday, July 7, 2017 at 5PM PST. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
• All interns are required to attend orientation on either Monday, September 11, 2017 OR Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
Details:
• All internships are located in Santa Monica, CA, unless otherwise stated. Interns must provide their own housing and transportation.
• Interns can work a minimum of 10 hours/week and up to a maximum of 20 hours/week.
• All internships are paid.
• Interns must be current sophomores through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date).
