We are looking for a Video and Event Production Engineer that will join our production team at Spotify. This team delivers event support and production across multiple locations in a dynamic, technology-based global environment. We provide executive level support for daily meetings, and event schema, shoot videos, manage broadcasts, run a range of different events, train internal users how to self-service and provide basic post production services in an 'end-to-end' support package.
What you'll do
• Event planning and coordination with stakeholders, equipment preparation and maintenance, vision mixing for multiple live events (local and global) with a multi-camera setup.
• Start to finish film production work (filming, editing, audio, effects) for internal meetings and videos that need to be shared with the company
• Support executive level meetings with any audio video requirements and ensure support for duration of meetings
• Provide staff training sessions on use of equipment, on an as-needed ongoing basis.
• Create written/video support training materials for staff and comprehensive documentation for internal troubleshooting
• Project Management. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Recommend improved workflows to better processes and efficiencies

Who you are
• You have basic IT skills such as front-end customer service experience, security and password management, digital archiving, and ticketing systems (such as JIRA).
• You are a strong communicator in English, both written and verbal, comfortable with messaging Tech, Executive Level, and company-wide comms.
• You have a calm and professional manner during executive level stakeholder events, juggling multiple disciplines and being able to pivot priority during times of change
• You have experience in film production, ability to set-up advanced cameras as well as knowledge of sound recording and lighting set-ups
• You have experience with stage maintenance and troubleshooting. A familiarity with set-up for events, maintaining production kits and troubleshooting live. Comfort with multiple inputs and mediums.
• You have previously run live shows. Experience in as many roles as possible is ideal, camera op, vision mixer, technician and direct support to presenters and other staff members
• You are experienced in professional video editing. A knowledge of basic functionality in Adobe Premier Pro: ingesting, converting, codecs, constructing timelines and sequences and editing to a tight deadline
• You have experience in audio recording and editing. Experience with setting up for live bands and using a recording studio is beneficial
• You have basic knowledge of streaming codecs, formats and different streaming services in order to troubleshoot and gain deeper understanding of issues that may arise
• You have working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• You have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and have an interest in graphic design work
• You are self-motivated and active with the ability to work independently
