Location: St. Louis, MO (KTVI/KPLR)
Reports To: VP/Creative Services
FOX 2/KPLR 11 is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to help extend our brand through interactive, animation, digital and on-air graphic presentation.
Responsibilities:
• Design/Create graphics for nightly newscasts
• Create and produce animated graphic elements for newscasts
• Create coordinating graphics for news, production and promotion.
• Meet fast-paced deadlines
• You work across multiple channels: on-air, web, mobile, social, video
• Extensive knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a strong sense of design, layout, accuracy and consistency in order to enforce the station’s brands.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience required
Minimum 2 years experience
Must have strong communication skills to interact with producers and news team
Must be able to work independently and multi-task
Must be able to work a flexible schedule – nights, occasional weekends, some holidays.
Must submit to a background check
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
