Job Description
For its Production Studio, Ubisoft Annecy is looking for a Game Designer Senior (M/F) to join a team in charge of developing AAA games and be a part of the next Ubisoft blockbuster.
Your main responsabilities will be:
• The design of some of the core game mechanics and core gameplay of a high-profile game.
• In collaboration with the gameplay team, you will have to prototype, iterate and deliver some key features of the game.
• In collaboration with the UI/UX team, make sure your features are perfectly exposed and clear for the player to ensure their accessibility
• In collaboration with the tech teams and content teams you find the most efficient solution to leverage the quality of the features you’ll be in charge throughout the content.
• Provide design documents throughout the production life cycle from hi-level concept to specific test cases.
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Design position.
Relevant experiences required:
• In a Senior design position
• In design of rich systems and 3Cs (core gameplay)
• In collaboration with UI/UX team
• In collaboration with user research / focus group / lab / community
• A strong experience in AAA games is recommended

• You have a really strong knowledge of the industry, and leverage competition’s best practice.
• Obviously, you know what accessibility, retention, engagement mean, and it’s your focus.
• You have a player centric approach. Among the team, you are players’ white knight!
• Proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions
• Autonomous in working in a cell with your team
• Good level of English is required for non-English candidate
• Ability to speak French is a plus for non-French candidate
