We're looking for a University Programs & Recruiting Coordinator to join our University Recruiting team at Airbnb. Learn more about our programs at https://www.airbnb.com/careers/university. This will be a 12 month contract position.
Recruiting responsibilities:
• Schedule all on campus interviews, domestic and international phone screens, Skype interviews, onsite interviews and/or university batch days (rotational in-house interview days for large volumes of student candidates)
• Contribute to the design and implementation of university batch days for heavy volume candidate interviewing during peak seasons
• Coordinate support for recruiters on campus travel initiatives like career fairs, networking receptions, Hackathons, listing events, tech talks, recruiter office hours, and on-campus interviews
• Oversee candidate travel to San Francisco and Seattle from candidate school locations; liaising with and manage relationship with Airbnb’s preferred travel vendor
• Host tours and ensure a seamless candidate experience from start to finish
• Provide recruiting partners with active updates on capacity limitations during peak recruiting season and providing strategic workarounds where possible
• Develop strong trust and relationships with recruiters and engineers across the organization
Programs responsibilities:
• Support our global internship program year-round in partnership with campus recruiters, the programs team, and cross-functional partners in engineering, data science, research, ITX, and other lines of business
• Provide administrative support to intern manager training, intern onboarding and training, and intern calibration sessions
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams and answer inbound questions from future interns in order to ensure the business is prepared to host our interns
• Coordinate event logistics (budgeting, booking spaces, speaker confirmation and coordination, catering, calendering, marketing materials, attendee preparation, invoice reconciliation and on-site support)
• Design and project manage campus and program swag distribution in conjunction with design and external vendors
• Support program specialists and project managers in the development of existing and new programs (outreach, conferences, offsites, and internal program infrastructure)
• Mentoring and training new coordinators as needed
Qualifications:
• 1-2+ years of relevant coordination, programs/project management, or event experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders
• Data-oriented and excited to make data informed decisions as we scale our programs
• Passionate about candidate experience: we see our candidates as our guests, and we are their hosts. It’s the Coordinator's job to ensure a smooth experience from beginning to end
• Passionate about interns and our intern program: we see our interns as not just guests, but family, and we are their long term hosts. It’s the Coordinator’s job to support a transformational 12-16 weeks

Preferred Requirements:
• Experience working in university recruiting or university programs
• Flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google products.
