We’ve connected millions of people to their favourite songs and created a service that they use to discover and share music they love. We’re currently live in nearly 60 markets and are growing fast. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Continental Europe, your mission will be to drive brand awareness and consideration but also increase user penetration locally. Working closely with other functions and geo counterparts you will plan, execute and track marketing initiatives that reach different audiences across a variety of channels. With a strong focus on France, you will also localise campaigns for Spain, Italy and Turkey. This is a fixed term contract for 7 months, starting in the middle of August.
What you’ll do
• Support the development of Spotify’s consumer marketing 2017 strategy in the region
• Help on establishing regional planning
• Work closely with the different stakeholders in France and Southern Europe to drive first class analytics & studies
• Establish the marketing planning and drive its execution
• Acting “Glocal”, localize global initiatives such as media campaigns or partnerships
• Work x-functionally and coordinate with the Market, Insight, Editorial, Social, PR and Brand teams to leverage local or global
• Managing & coordinating local agencies
• Hacking growth in France and Southern Europe, working closely with the premium team to accelerate our subscriber base in the region
• As a brand guardian, make sure visual identity and follow our brand guidelines and our messages/tone of voice are in line with our communication strategy
• Track performance of marketing activations and build quantitative and qualitative reporting from all marketing activations
Who you are
• A few years experience working in consumer marketing or brand management
• An articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge of digital and brand advertising
• Creative, yet analytically minded with ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to synthesise vast information to determine the best Spotify positioning quickly
• Love of a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Exhibit curiosity, proactively solve problems and get things done
• Self-motivated, flexible and open minded individual, happy to juggle a variety of tasks under tight deadlines
• Ownership of quality and content of work plus a great attention to details
• Inquiring and confident, not afraid to ask questions, able to come to an informed decision, then stand by it and make things happen
• Fluent in English. Knowledge in Italian, Spanish or Turkish is a plus
