OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
This role is charged with leading marketing for AMC digital products using data-driven, optimization and other leading consumer acquisition techniques.
This person will work closely with product, research, business intelligence/analytics, franchise, and CRM in order to achieve specific growth targets as may be appropriate to a particular campaign, initiative or product.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic and critical thinker with the ability to execute plans with a focus on base decision-making for data and consumer analysis. You’re passionate about leading change in our rapidly evolving industry. You have a strong point of view on what should happen to make it better for Fans & Artists. The ability to hit customer acquisition, conversion, retention and growth targets are key to this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the execution of acquisition and growth campaigns across social, mobile and other digital platforms to drive new and repeat usage among customers.
• Oversee a data-driven vision and approach for acquisition and retention focused on consumer lifetime value.
• Own measurable KPIs aligned to overall business objectives.
• Contribute to the overall marketing strategy through analysis of current and potential consumers, emerging marketing trends and market/competitive intelligence, and translate the strategy into operational plans.
• Work closely with product team and peers to drive insights by analyzing campaign and consumer activities across the portfolio including identifying new products and features.
• Drive consumer registration and identification programs to build CRM and deep customer data.
• Issue reports and work with business intelligence to collate data and results.
• Provide informed recommendations for marketing executives and functional stakeholders regarding campaign creative and product attributes.
• Establish deep relationships with brand heads, forecast customer growth targets, manage expectations through clear written communication and formal presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8+ years of experience in digital, mobile and social marketing with demonstrated success in achieving growth, acquisition and retention targets, and establishing a data-centered marketing approach across business models (e.g. subscription).
Strong background in:
• Using online tools to launch and manage marketing campaigns on social and other platforms.
• Tracking, analytics, measurement and using various types of data analysis, business intelligence, and query tools.
• Setting and managing a marketing budget.
• Achieving specific target metrics for campaigns.
• Working with brand creative, agencies and other key marketing functional groups.
• A/B testing across the marketing spectrum.
• Recommending data informed product features to activate engagement and create stickiness.
• Infuse startup speed in execution. Experiment. Fail fast. Discern and share intelligence.
• Providing data-based feedback on creative assets.
