We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Strategy team! Working closely with the Ad Design team, you will partner with the Regional Sales team, Creative Strategy team, and external brands and agencies to design innovative advertising solutions that will help drive Snap Inc.’s sales goals. Working from our New York, NY office, you’ll execute multiple projects simultaneously, building out a library of assets consisting of ad mocks, infographics, videos, animations, and presentations.
What you'll do:
• Design and produce a wide range of projects—Sponsored Geofilters, video advertisements, presentations, and collateral
• Collaborate with Sales and Creative Strategy to create the most effective advertising proposals and internal workflow processes
• Attend internal Sales and Creative Strategy meetings as well as external brand and agency meetings and share information and expertise about design and marketing trends
What we're looking for:
• B.F.A. in graphic design, advertising, or equivalent
• 5+ years of work experience in graphic design (in-house, brand, or agency experience a plus)
• Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Strong Illustration and editorial design chops
• Intermediate to expert skills in Video/Animation (Premier and/or After Effects) and Presentation (Keynote)
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative team player with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating success in creating beautiful interactive designs, print designs, and result-focused marketing designs
• Attention to detail in communication, design, and production is crucial
• Strong understanding of Sales goals, messaging, and strategy
• Highly organized and a clear and effective communicator
• Able to work independently, but also able to take direction
• Collaborative team player
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others
