Manager, Business Analysis
The Manager, Business Analysis will be responsible for a team of business analysts that are focused on acquisition and retention, financial reporting, evaluation of sales trends and forecasting. The output of this team is responsible for providing insights into campaign profitability and optimization of marketing dollars, subscriber revenue and retention. This position will work closely with the Senior Directors to develop forecasting and budgeting models, creating KPI and metric base reporting, and presenting actionable data analysis which will help to drive strategy.
A successful candidate is a leader that takes initiative and ensures that the team uses a structured, analytical approach to problem solving and looks for process improvement opportunities. It is essential that this leader is comfortable managing a large team and consistently challenges the status quo and drives process improvement and accuracy across the Sales and Marketing organization. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees and communicates campaign performance, profitability and retention trends (i.e. budgeting, forecasting, weekly and monthly results, variance analysis and period-close)
• Partners with Senior Directors and Sales Managers to create customized reporting and analysis and designs and provides ad hoc reports with an eye on consistency and best practices.
• Communicates effectively and can build and present findings to management.
• Develops, recommends, and implements ideas and projects that will result in improved efficiency, productivity, quality, and operational savings.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics
• Minimum of 5 years in an analytical position with proven experience in management of team of Analysts
• Excel power user (pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced IF statements), SAP (BPC) preferred but not required
• Must be able to manipulate large amounts of data from disparate sources and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial numbers.
