Marketing Manager - ShopNation
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
This position is primarily responsible overseeing all customer acquisition channels for all Meredith Shop sites.
II. Essential Job Functions
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
50% Responsible for overseeing all online marketing efforts including, but not limited to
SEM, SEO, Affiliate, Display, E-mail, Social Marketing.
The individual will develop and implement strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate goals within all customer acquisition channels
20% Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Merchandising, Tech teams
30% Content and Site Management
Develop a hiring plan for building out the team
Collaborating with marketing and web experts to own and improve the website
100%
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
BA/BS in a quantitative business discipline (math, economics, business, science, etc.) or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience:
Minimum 3 years directly related experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience developing and growing profitable online marketing programs via SEO, SEM, email, as well as traditional display channels
Strong leadership, follow-through, and organizational skills-Strong computer skills,
Microsoft office applications
Must be proficient with web analytics
Strong analytics, strategic and critical thinking skills
Strong communication skills are essential
Demonstrated successful track record in building and leading high-performing teams and developing individuals.
Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape is a must
Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
