Senior Employee Services Representative

Having recently completed a company split, it is an exciting time be part of the Gannett Human Resources team. Explore the possibilities as a Senior Employee Services Representative and help us tell our story.
Main responsibilities include:
• Educate employees about and guide employees through HR resources, assist with online navigation to answers, explain company policies and benefit offerings; respond to general HR and benefit related questions that come in via phone, e-mail, mail or walk-ins from employees and managers throughout the company.
• Ensure all issues initiated are tracked through case management software through completion; work with other ESRs, SR ESRs, subject matter experts and HR business partners to help resolve special needs or issues.
• Work with managers on employee leave issues including disability, workers’ compensation, personal, military and family leaves; ensure HR/payroll records are updated using the ESR access tools and ensure that paychecks are adjusted and employees are properly notified.
• Remain current on ESR resources and recommend improvements to ESR resource materials.
• Assist with trafficking and input of paperwork that falls outside the paperless process flow.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential task as assigned.
Requirements:
• Associate degree in HR or comparable equivalent
• Two plus years of HR experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Accurate data entry experience
• Working knowledge and comfort level using online databases, HR software, and CSR tracking tools
