Manages all activities associated with digital marketing projects that include, but not limited to creative development, managing internal departmental and agency relationships, and publishing in digital environments (newsletter, website, and social).
Responsibilities:
• Manage STARZ Original programming digital marketing initiatives, which include social media, digital experiences, email marketing, YouTube, and paid media campaigns.
• Responsible for initiating and coordinating creative development, tracking timelines, documenting requests/changes, and communicating the status of all assigned projects to other departments as appropriate, including: Creative, Public Relations, Consumer Marketing, and Programming.
• Perform social media community management duties when necessary, including copywriting, posting, live tweeting, replying to fans, etc.
• Partner with the marketing and publicity teams on strategy and creative to ensure optimization of all programs with a focus on driving viewership, engagement and ultimately subscriptions.
• Collaborate with digital agencies to ideate and create compelling, innovative digital experiences and custom content that drive engagement and awareness (i.e. - microsites, apps, games, etc).
• Work to clear photography needs for social assets by working with various internal departments.
• Oversee regular updates to Originals pages on Starz.com to reflect the series’ lifecycles and brand guidelines, and manage the day-to-day relationship with the Content team.
• Aid in the creation, testing, and publishing of email newsletters, while working to optimize campaigns against weekly metrics.
• Collaborate with affiliate and international teams to extend digital campaigns into their space through asset and copy trafficking.
• Support sweepstakes and giveaways by overseeing prizing inventory and assisting with fulfillments.
• Research and contribute ideas and recommendations towards social platform and process improvements.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required
• 3-4 years of digital or social marketing experience, preferably in an agency, or entertainment environment
• Demonstrated ability to write copy for use in social properties.
• Avid user of social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, and YouTube, always looking out for new functionality and applications of platforms.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that all delivered assets conform to brand and company standards.
• Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities as well as the work environment.
• High level of creativity and ability to manage creative for digital mediums
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
• Project management skills; ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus, while adhering to strict project timeline and budgets.
