We’re looking for a Visual Designer to help define the future of AutoCAD. This is an exciting time for the team, as we’re building a new visual language, and we need help! You would be responsible for the creation of UI concepts, elements, transitional animation and general look and feel. You'd be joining and working closely with a group of UX designers and developers on the AutoCAD team, as well as the general Visual Design team responsible for many other Autodesk apps. This is a high functioning, tight-knit team, so great communication and collaboration skills are a must.

The Visual Designer will...
• Participate in product ideation and conceptual development.
• Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons.
• Design motion graphics and animation effects.
• Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, and design prototypes.
• Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
• Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes creative leads, other designers, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.
Job Requirements:
• 1-3 years of Visual Design experience.
• Strong and flexible skills in visual design and interaction design.
• Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe suite and Sketch
• Experience with motion and transitions, using tools like Principle and the like
• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS.
• Bachelor's degree in graphics design, interaction design, fine arts, or a related design discipline.
• A passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level.
