Job Description
Ubisoft’s award winning marketing department is seeking a LATAM Marketing Specialist. This person will work as a liaison between Ubisoft’s North American headquarters in San Francisco and Ubisoft’s Latin American headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The position is in San Francisco, but may require occasional travel to Sao Paulo and other Latin American destinations as business needs arise. Lastly, the marketing specialist will support the brand team occasionally by developing marketing strategies and tactics for some Ubisoft titles.
If you aren’t familiar with Ubisoft, we are the company behind some of the gaming industry’s most popular brands including: Assassins Creed, Just Dance, FarCry, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Watchdogs, and Rocksmith. Our marketing campaigns run worldwide, and this position will be critical for ensuring our Latin American business has the assets and information it needs to successfully market our products. This position reports into a Senior Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Manage communication process between marketing teams in San Francisco and those in Sao Paulo.
• Present marketing plans and updates to Latin America marketing and sales teams
• Gather information from key stakeholders across Ubisoft’s portfolio of brands and to report out to Latin American marketing team.
• Represent the North American marketing department as needed in meetings with the Latin American marketing teams.
• Occasionally develop marketing strategies and go to market campaigns for some of Ubisoft’s games.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years working in a coordinator, project management, account management, or equivalent role.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of Brazilian business practices and retail landscape (Ideal candidate will have spent time living and working Brazil at some point).
• Understanding for brand and digital marketing.
• Organized and process oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Great attitude and ability to problem solve.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Interest in marketing and video games a plus.
