Purpose of the role:
We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our friendly, busy team to support the operations management of the Researcher Training Services, comprising online training, in-person workshops and webinars for researchers around the world.
You will be an excellent communicator and organiser with an enthusiastic approach to work; in return we offer the opportunity to hone a wide-ranging set of skills while working on a growing portfolio of products.

Responsibilities:
• Working with the Senior Events Coordinator and the Events & Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of all training events, ensuring the premium quality of the Nature Masterclasses is maintained.
• Regular communication and coordination with international sales teams and project coordinators.
• Inviting and onboarding editors from the Nature-series of journals to deliver the training.
• Organising the agenda and materials for each event, based on the needs of the clients and in collaboration with the Events & Operations Manager, trainers and editors;
• Liaising with the design team to plan and produce accurate and professional material for each workshop, including proof reading and sign off.
• Creating and analysing participant feedback forms and writing reports.
• Managing and processing editor payments.
• Organising international travel and working with local teams to arrange travel/accommodation logistics (travel to client meetings may be required).
Experience, skills and qualifications
Qualifications
• A good undergraduate degree (in a scientific discipline desired but not essential)

• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail
Desirable
• An understanding of scientific publishing and the needs of researchers/their institutions
