About the role:

In this Hub Brand Ambassador role for Northern Europe (including markets such as the UK, Germany and Benelux regions and further afield), you will become the face of Whisky and Dark Spirits for the Hub in the trade. You will work closely with other ambassadors and teams within our business to provide education, brand and activation support to the top bars and customers across the Hub. We’ll encourage you to operate with freedom, flair and creativity to identify and win new business opportunities for Bacardi.
As our HUB Brand Ambassador for Whisky, you will become an integral part of our high performing and motivated Global Advocacy team. You will be the leading expert on the Brand and Category for Northern Europe. You will embody and represent the brand image and values externally and internally. Collaborating closely with the global, hub and local Customer Marketing and Category teams will be key in order to increase the awareness of our brand with key influencers (e.g. bartenders and influential consumers) in the strategic On Trade channel. Your deep knowledge of the Category and the range of Brands along with your ability to communicate and influence people will be crucial to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities:
Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the On – Trade channel (i.e. Bartenders and Bar Owners) and influence the positioning of the brands at / on Hub, local market level
Build visibility and Affinity to our Whisky Brands by creating future proof advocacy programs and assets
You will develop and drive Brand and Category training programs for local Brand and Trade Ambassadors together with local teams to build confidence and in turn win hearts and minds
Build, shape and deploy the Hub Brand/Category training programs
Build a learning organization by creating a “share, steal and reapply” culture that systematically builds a Hub and global database of Brand Advocacy best practices
The role will require interacting with the key channel influencers across key cities. As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all stakeholders. Especially in our primary markets namely Germany, the Benelux and the UK
About you:
If you embody the spirit and attitude of all things whisky, are highly active and engaging on social media and well-connected to influential bars and bartenders with the UK and beyond, this could be the perfect job for you! We are looking for someone who is confident and enthusiastic, with the ability to hold and inspire an audience.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent bar-tending skills and experience – preferably in a quality bar, restaurant or hotel with the ability to showcase a range of signature cocktails. This is not a 9 to 5 role and you will need to possess plenty of energy, a desire for fun, lots of confidence to help explode the brand in the region as well as a fully flexible approach to meet the demands of this challenging but rewarding role.
Training:
A comprehensive training and induction programme will prepare you to fulfil the role confidently as well as understand the Bacardi ways of working. Throughout the year there will be further training and development on category knowledge and presentation skills to fully equip you to become an expert on everything there is to know about Whisky.
The induction will include training on key aspects of the role such as selling skills and full brand inductions. There will be lots of time learning on the job and working with the Ambassador team to understand the role, our processes and most importantly our customers. You will also get plenty of one on one time with your line manager to ensure you are equipped with the tools you will need to succeed in the role.

For this role, you will receive the following: A competitive base salary, bonus rewards and competitive local market benefits. A car allowance is also provided. You will also receive 24 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous product allowance per annum to be spent on our brands, phone, healthcare and pension.
