Responsibilities
NBCU is seeking a Digital Marketing Campaign Manager to join its growing team of marketing specialists to deliver unmatched sales support through the execution of innovative, integrated marketing programs for its stellar roster of new and existing clients.
The Digital Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for working with the NBCU Lifestyle properties’ Marketing teams to help evolve our marketplace offerings and execute revenue generating solutions for clients. Reporting to the Network Partnerships Director, this position will play an active role in supporting the management and oversight of digital marketing executions and will provide critical campaign intelligence to Sales and key internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of best-in-class digital solutions.
This role will manage all aspects of client campaign execution: from requirements, planning, design and strategy through full web development, launch, updates, optimizations and program renewal recommendations. In addition, this position will help us to redefine our suite of offerings and the innovative solutions NBCU can deliver to its clients.
LAUNCH & MANAGE DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS:
• Assume ownership of all aspects of multi-platform campaigns (website, app, VOD) and shepherd them from inception to completion
• Work with Marketing, Edit, Creative Development, Ad Ops and Research teams to setup and launch digital branded content / sponsorship campaigns for some of the largest agencies and brands in the market
• Collaborate with Research and Edit, and utilize content ROI tools (like SimpleReach) to provide campaign intelligence – including strategic analysis and insight on campaign delivery and management, to Sales and internal stakeholders
• Monitor all custom elements of live campaigns daily, and develop optimization recommendations to maximize performance and ensure delivery
BE A SOLUTIONS-ORIENTED TEAM PLAYER:
• Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships with marketing, ad ops, edit sales, research, 3rd party vendors and other revenue focused teams
• Proactively drive and implement solutions related to campaign issues affecting content delivery, tagging, tracking, and reporting, while keeping the entire project team in the loop
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure all appropriate teams adhere to deadlines
• Promote team-wide adherence of digital post-sale process
DRIVE INNOVATION:
• Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to support the creation and evolution of new and existing marketing products by leveraging post-sale insights and best practices and making strategic recommendations that have long term impact on revenue generation
• Seek out product performance metrics and identify benchmarks and areas of improvement
BE RESOURCEFUL & PROACTIVE:
• Develop and evolve project tracking tools, methodologies and process improvement opportunities
• Ensure project budgets are maintained and potential overruns are addressed proactively
SHOW CLIENTS WHY THEY ARE SMART FOR PARTNERING WITH US:
• Schedule and run post-mortem meetings to identify campaign challenges and successes, and ensure learnings are applied to future campaigns
• Create regular campaign performance reports and analyses for the Planning/Sales teams
• Support Sales in up-selling and cross-selling opportunities when possible, and take initiative to obtain additional business insights to support recommendation
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience managing large, multi-platform digital projects across a matrixed organization
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience using MS Project and analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics
• Strong understanding and experience with social and data analytics platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong PowerPoint presentations skills

• Familiarity with the digital audience and social analytics tools
• Ability to successfully work with executives at all levels in both the business and creative communities, inside and outside the company.
