Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the delivery of CRM/campaign reporting and insights.
• Work closely with marketing, campaigns, analytics and technology to make sure we have the right data and tooling available to build a complete picture of our customers.
• Perform post-campaign analysis and make data driven campaign recommendations.
• Provide relevant and actionable insights to the CRM team to improve the campaign performance and increase customer engagement.
• Help define and manage the advanced customer analytics strategy to optimise CRM activities.
• Define, manage and implement campaign performance dashboards to track and learn from most successful campaigns and improve their overall performance.
• Build an ad-hoc campaign analysis framework focusing on main KPI's to drive actionable insights and recommendations to improve their performance.
• Develop customers through propensity models and provide the cross/up-sell offers targeted to each customer.
• Work with the current teams to define contact strategy optimisation models to increase open rates and customer's activity while reducing the volume of un-subscribers.
• Analyse in-cancellation comms to prevent potential abandonment.
Objectives
• Deliver analysis of selected customer cohorts in relation to marketing campaigns.
• Set up campaign measurements and recommend evaluation/ testing methodology.
• Be available to prioritise the delivery of high priority, fast turnaround briefs from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other AIA teams to provide a ‘joined up’ insights and analytics response to briefs.
• Contribute to business led proposition development and other projects providing subject matter expertise.
• Participate in regular updates on progress on current briefs so as to engage the business teams with the analysis as it progresses.
• Help reduce churn rates by optimising contact strategies.
• Retain customers by providing insight into communications that customer groups will most likely respond to.
• Develop customers by offering the right up/cross-sell products.
• Analyse how best to convert customers from trials/registered access into paid subs.
• Reduce time to understand campaign effectiveness.
Useful knowledge, skills and experience
• Experience in CRM platforms such as salesforce, Unica and silverpop.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills, proficiency of one or more statistical tools like R or Python.
• Ability to understand customer and commercial data and communicate it in a concise and relevant way to stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of building simple statistical models.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science or similar and 3+ years working in a data and analytics role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact and build rapport.
• Strong time management skills with an ability to handle and prioritise multiple requests.
• Good presentation skills – ability to write and present clear and concise analysis using Powerpoint, Tableau or similar.
• Good knowledge of CRM, data-led marketing and advertising. Experience with on-line marketing/advertising.
• Able to work with minimal instruction and oversight, conduct multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
