Why are we here?
To provide highly professional administrative and organisational support to the News UK video team and in particular managing the administration that supports our video production teams. This role will also involve assisting with all aspects of video production including to help set up and organise shoots.
What are my accountabilities?
• Providing administration support to the video team.
• Manage a central production schedule for each of the video teams
• Finance administration - preparing and processing purchase orders and invoices
• Running a diary for the team, set up and organise meetings
• Preparing weekly reports, presentations and packs for senior meetings.
• Organising taxis, couriers, restaurants, flights and accommodation reservations for the senior team as required and also for shoots and productions
• Establishing good working relationship with other members of the team, Editorial HR, Finance, Commercial and Marketing
• Setting up and inducting new members of the team
• Managing the office space - desks, printers, stationery, goods in, post (and any office moves)
• Ad hoc administrative and project duties
• Managing studio booking system
• Managing freelancer and talent contracts and payments
Must Haves
• Experience in working in a busy office environment and in a production environment
• Excellent IT skills to include extensive working knowledge of WP packages
• Excellent administration skills
• Excellent writing skills and abilities
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Planning and prioritising skills
• Highly organised and efficient
• Excellent attention to detail
• Prepared to work outside of the job expectations on occasion and views a challenge with enthusiasm
• Versatility and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
