As a Campus and University Relations Recruiter, you are responsible for developing the strategy and executing the plan to recruit, hire, train and place associates into entry level roles. This includes building relationships with key universities to proactively source high quality undergraduate and MBA candidates. You will plan and execute campus recruiting activities including classroom presentations, career fairs, on-campus interviews and information sessions. You will also assist in the administration of our Internship program. This is a unique opportunity to create and build our campus recruiting program and develop best practices that can be rolled out across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition this role will work from our headquarters in McLean, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
• Generate intern candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, job postings, on-campus career fairs, and work with associations
• Coordinate participation in College Career Fairs and other on-campus recruiting events
• Maintain employer profiles and job postings on College Job Boards
• Keep focused on sourcing strategies that will encourage diverse hiring practices in line with diversity goals that will help maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity and competitive advantage
• Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
• Perform initial phone screens for candidates engaged through college recruiting activities to determine if candidates meet the overall job requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for recruits throughout the full recruiting cycle (i.e., communicate status, answer questions, extend offers, schedule start dates and coordinate all follow-up efforts)
• Develop knowledge of the marketplace to ensure competitiveness in hiring
• Act as a partner with the recruiting team and internal hiring managers
• Develop and manage robust campus recruiting strategy designed to help drive attraction and recruitment of students
• Ensure all processes and practices are adhered to and all recruitment/ selection related information is logged and retained in line with the company's compliance practices. Take ownership of the applicant tracking system and keep it up to date
• Accurately report and track candidate data as requested
• Manage the offer process, reference tool and liaise with onboarding to solve issues related to candidates joining the organization.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience in college recruiting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Business or related
• Strong written and verbal communication
