Times Media, a member of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to support advertising sales executives as a Digital Account Coordinator, on a part-time, temporary basis
This position is responsible for the flighting of all online ads to our Central Ad Ops Team. This includes processing and approving orders, tracking down the creative and uploading it to Orderhub Production and ensuring the flight is ready to start on time. This will be done by working with ad staff on submitting complete and timely materials and with Central Ad Ops to start the campaign on time. Duties also include troubleshooting any issues that come up with scheduling or creative on a day to day basis. This position will also be involved with checking our inventory for both our sctimes.com site and Yahoo! by utilizing DFP, APT and Media Math software to ensure the flights are delivering properly.
This position will also be responsible for advertising magazine creation and some ad creation. The position must be proficient with the use of Adobe design products and web graphics. This position will also be trained in basic web design, so they can design e-blasts and landing pages. Maintain the online open house directories for Real Estate weekly.
This position will be responsible for assigned special projects. This position will need to work with IC Webmaster to assure assigned projects conform to corporate standards. Video production is a plus. Shooting and editing video with Final Cut and audio with Audacity software.
In this role, you will:
• Processing and monitoring all ad campaigns through Orderhub Production - 30%
• Create advertising magazines and complete on deadline - 20%
• Plan & prioritize the daily workflow to meet all deadlines. Work with the Sales staff to ensure that all online ads are being scheduled on time and any missing ads are found and processed efficiently - 20%
• Develop and design advertising creative - 10%
• Assist in managing online inventory. Run reporting of ad campaigns off above tracking software - 10%
• Performs other duties as assigned. Flexible work hours to cover sales rep needs - 10%
Here’s what you need:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years experience in multi-media design preferred
• Solid computer skills to include Macintosh and PC; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Reader; and experience working with FTP sites and generating URL’s
• Experience with design software such as InDesign, photoshop and flash.
• Experience with web development software such as Dreamweaver and Word Press.
• Video production is a plus. Shooting and editing video with Final Cut and audio with Audacity software.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while having an all-encompassing understanding of the media sales process.
• Excellent customer service skills, coordination, organizational skills, prioritization, problem solving & decision making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of design and creative needs via electronic communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work closely with the sales staff, artists, and customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment & handle tight/multiple deadlines.
