Responsibilities
Universal Games and Digital Products team is a division of NBCUniversal Brand Development with an objective to grow the games and digital business for NBCUniversal on mobile, console, and online.
Given our position in NBCUniversal Brand Development, the Games and Digital Products team takes a unique approach to developing content, integrating with other areas of licensing and branding. We seek to deepen audience engagement through Digital Products (mobile and console games, ringtones, stickers, and online content). The ultimate goal of NBCUniversal Brand Development is to enhance and sustain our properties and franchises and deliver consistent revenues back to the company.
This person must be an avid gamer and will have a background in the mobile-gaming space. The person will have a strong understanding of social marketing. The successful candidate will assist and learn by working with the team with the development and production of licensed mobile/console/PC games, as well as supporting the marketing and franchise development of those products.
Job Description:
• Contributing to brainstorms and other development meetings
• Assist Manager of Games and Digital Products to complete brand and film research for upcoming projects
• Identify digital marketing trends, competitive research, best practices and key opportunities for innovation
• Manage weekly tracking featuring on the iOS App Store with App Annie
• Play testing and providing feedback for Universal games in development for both film and television IPs
• Identify digital marketing trends, competitive research, best practices and key opportunities for innovation
• Assist with the production of game marketing recaps, presentation materials, pitch decks, and more
• Assist team where needed, on ad hoc projects

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship
• Must be able to work on-site in Universal City, Burbank, or Los Angeles, CA
RECENT GRADUATES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.
Desired Characteristics
• Strong interest and basic knowledge of digital & social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, research & analytics
• Strong interest in mobile, console and social games
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work well both solo and in a group
• Ability to be a self-starter, exercise good judgment and discretion
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and take direction from multiple people
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
• Added preference for knowledge of Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Final Draft
