Job Title Sales Coordinator - Parents Network
This position will assist account managers and the management team with special projects, presentations, strategic thinking throughout the brainstorming, sales and marketing process. This position provides analysis and support of projects and functions relating to internal strategizing and marketing campaigns for clients. Work with account managers regarding strategy, creativity and innovative thinking for client interaction, including but not limited to mailings, corporate events and meetings. Aid with the RFP process and performing competitive analysis.
The ability to effectively communicate the Meredith Parents Network capabilities across all properties (Parents, Fit Pregnancy and Baby, FamilyFun, Parents Latina), digital, mobile and experiential. Prospect and research potential clients, participates in long and short term sales planning, and brainstorming with marketing. Prepare consistent well thought out communication for clients and management. Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with Meredith colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Functions

Prepare and maintains sales materials, including distributing new sales tool information, as well as printing, collating, binding individual sales presentations and materials for sales calls, issue mailings, and other mailings.Complete other clerical tasks including ordering supplies, printing/filing/uploading standard reports, organizing and maintaining the general office, including maintaining a ready supply of issues and also marketing premiums.Updates to comp lists on a regular basis, messenger packets and sales materials as needed.

Assist reps in the rfp process including completing standard information on rfps and contacting other internal departments for rfp development.Organizes all aspects of rfp and order tracking process, including routing all rfps to management as directed.Also assist with post-sale functions, including processing insertion orders, updating forecasts in Salesforce, and collaborating with sales staff in terms of positioning process.

Make travel and entertainment arrangements, compile and process T&E reports.Coordinate special events as directed by sales staff.

Special project coordinator responsibility including interfacing with clients and agencies, as well as Meredith internal departments in implementing larger programs, including advertorial development administration and timetable tracking.Other special projects include working with the off-site IT department to implement software updates and trouble-shoot computer issues for the sales staff, as well as working with the staff to develop creative sales materials and update presentations as necessary.

Maintain pleasant and professional communication with clients as necessary and directed by sales staff, including answering routine questions (such as providing closing dates for IO’s and materials) and redirecting client calls or questions as necessary.

Education:
College degree
Experience:
1 year +, related administrative support or media experience.
