DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for supporting the SVP/Market Program Director and performing daily office functions
• Provide clerical and phone support to the SVP/Market Program Director and local station programming departments
• Maintain the SVP/Market Program Director’s calendar and handle the scheduling of appointments
• Make travel arrangements, prepare expense reports, and order and maintain station supplies
• Handle necessary arrangements for meetings such as preparing presentations, making copies, reserving conference rooms, and coordinating catering
• Assist in daily administrative duties for local stations under the SVP/MPD
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Majority of work day will be spent sitting and using a computer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years administrative assistant experience is required; prior executive assistant experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts; exceptional organizational skills are required. Must possess the ability to meet deadlines and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required. Proficiency in Mediabase, BDS and Selector strongly preferred. Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive material regarding the station. 4 year college degree required.
