Responsibilities
Finish/version creative content for various E! International feeds
QC finished spots
Coordinate finishing/versioning with assistant editors that are cutting on Avid Media Composer
Schedule corresponding drop-in graphics (i.e., Deko text, After Effects, subtitles, etc.) for all creative assets
Coordinate audio sessions with voice-over talent and pro-tools mixers
Work closely with manager to ensure all assets are executed in an accurate and timely manner
Read and understand program schedules across various feeds
Work with media manager to ensure additional media is finished and delivered for online/social platforms
Assist manager and supervisor of department with other content needs: affiliate promo delivery, cross promos, ad-sales needs, and other special deliveries
Work with media manager to acquire source masters
Understand compliance restrictions and coordinate compliance recuts
Ensure that all spots are entered in the scheduling (traffic) systems (i.e. Lacuna/Landmark/Mediator/Dry Creek) and ingested by Master Control in a timely manner, to ultimately air during their respective flight dates
Become proficient on Avid systems and finalize short-form segments needed on a weekly basis
Coordinate ancillary requests as needed from NBC/Universal TV Distribution
Some weekend and alternative hours may be needed during special events (i.e. Red Carpet Season)

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Knowledge of Avid a plus. Candidate must have at least one year’s worth of experience working in a similar capacity at a network or cable channel
Must possess strong writing & copy-editing skills and be detail-oriented.
Must know how to communicate effectively and positively with production team members, partners, and other departments.
Broad knowledge of entertainment and pop culture a plus
Individual must be organized, accurate, flexible, self-motivated, responsible, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
