Responsibilities
The Communications Intern would assist in public relations support for Golf Channel priorities and internal communications.
Job Duties
Compile strategic clip reports
Draft press materials
Maintain media lists
Research
Assist with promotion of Golf Channel’s biggest events including The Open, Presidents Cup, Solheim Cup and professional tour events
Hand on media relation opportunities for World Long Drive Association
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in courses or within 3 months of graduation
Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
Good communicator and congenial.
Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with good typing skills.
Working knowledge of the news media.
Administrative experience.
Excellent writing skills.
Familiarity with golf
