LOCAL CONSUMER SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
This position is responsible for executing and monitoring subscriber acquisition, retention, and consumer engagement strategies to promote growth of subscription revenue and volumes. Responsible for managing vendor/partner sales relationships in specific areas such as direct mail, telemarketing, events and online sales. Manage data as part of a collaborative sales team, developing acquisition campaigns across all sales channels. Engage potential consumers through social media and other digital assets to bring them into an alignment with our brands and products. Meet and exceed all volume goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Key success metrics are: growing subscriber revenue, achieving volume goals, increasing market penetration, managing expenses, implementing sales initiatives and consumer engagement programs. Responsible for developing new sales programs and increasing engagement of subscribers on multiple platforms.
Bachelor's Degree required, specialization in marketing and/or communications preferred.
Minimum of three years of sales/marketing/retail or relevant business experience required.
Digital background in SEM/SEO, retargeting, display and social media a plus.
Experience in Consumer B2C event planning and coordination for engagement and sales preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively in a regionalized structure, building strong communication channels to consumer sales groups at remote sites.
Creative and analytical ability and experience needed to develop new programs.
Individual must have intermediate computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
To be successful, individual must possess strong project management and problem solving skills.
Must be able to manage programs through peers and managers who report to different disciplines within the company.
Must be able to develop and execute successful sales campaigns across multiple platforms to ensure budgeted sales and engagement goals are met.
Individual must also be able to develop and expand relationships with co-workers, vendors, internal customers, external customers and area businesses.
Individual must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have a valid driver's license and meet company-driving requirements.
