DESCRIPTION:
CBS Radio’s Government Division located Sacramento is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the fast growing Government Communications team. The Project Coordinator will assist and support the execution Government Communication efforts. Duties include: oversight of campaign details, working with Capture Specialist to deliver the highest level of customer service; assist in the management of timelines and budgets; work cross-functionally with other areas of the department; maintain positive relationships with third party clients as may be required (e.g. creative relationships, advertising agencies, vendors, etc.); and other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of demonstrated project coordination experience. Must be an excellent communicator and a team player. The candidate must have the following skill sets:
• Must be highly skilled in: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel
• Be able to work constructively with other departments and individuals;
• Attend meetings, training sessions and client events as needed;
• Problem solve where needed, solution orientated;
• Implement project plans to build deliverables;
• Monitor and control project deliverables;
• Manage timelines
• Assure and control quality
• Track and monitor procurement
• Prepare and present project status reports to literal teams
• Support the Capture Specialist in delivering highest level of work & client service under the client lead of the Capture Specialist
• Have a sense of urgency
Experience in media coordination and placement of media campaigns, ideal not required
General knowledge of account management and implementation
Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Must be a professional and proven team player with customer focus
Ability to learn quickly and apply learning wherever possible
Ability to foster a positive relationship with key team members at all levels, internal as well as external
At times must have flexibility to work hours early or late as required by deadlines, maybe necessary to provide best customer service
Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred; but not required
