DESCRIPTION:
Division Overview:
CBS Interactive is looking for a Marketing Content Operations Associate to process and program content on web pages, mobile and OTT platforms for the CBS broadcast network’s shows and CBS All Access Originals.
Role Details:
This person will coordinate with multiple departments within CBS Interactive to requisition needed content and update the marketing placements, design assets, and editorial content — including marquees, video clips, full episodes, photo galleries, blog posts, broadcast schedule information, paid social campaigns and other design assets.
The Marketing Content Operations Associate must be a process-oriented individual with a serious attention to detail. They will be responsible for managing marketing content updates on multiple CBS show platforms as well as owned social pages, and must ensure that all assets and content meet standards of quality and accuracy.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Program, upload, and publish site, mobile and OTT content and assets across multiple CBS show spaces.
• Coordinate across departments to secure assets and approvals as needed.
• Optimize content and assets for current audience consumption and discovery habits (semantic search and social sharing).
• Help manage homepage and show page marketing priorities and adjust marketing placements as such.
• Help coordinate A/B testing across marketing platforms, analyze results and make campaign adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate ongoing paid social support, in coordination with the Social team, to support referral traffic and KPIs for current and new shows.
Key Projects:
• Help manage the timely marketing operations of specials and tentpole events including, GRAMMYs, Fall Premiere, Finales, Upfronts and more.
• Help maintain and reconcile the marketing budget and related reports monthly, quarterly and year end, in coordination with the Finance team.
• Assist with A/B testing and optimization of CBS.com content and CBS All Access content across multiple platforms.
• Assist with the management of the high visibility Fall Premieres campaign display campaign for CBS Network across multiple CBS Interactive websites.
• Work with the Social team to support timely series premieres, summer and fall, across paid social channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have--
At least a years of experience writing copy and content optimized for web audiences
At least a year of experience building and programming content in a CMS
Experience managing assets for a web, mobile or OTT content property
Proven professional commitment to detail and accuracy
A keen eye for visuals that will entice readers
Basic HTML skills
Must be an excellent communicator with a commitment to open collaboration
You may also have--
Familiarity with the social media and social media marketing
A deep passion for television
Experience using team collaboration platforms like Asana, Basecamp or JIRA is a plus
