DESCRIPTION:
WUPA-TV CW69, a CBS Television O&O, is searching for an IT Manager in the Atlanta, Georgia market.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the hands on operation and management of Station Information Systems.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Hands on support and administration of Station computer and communication systems including, but not limited to: general office, sales support, production, mobile, and broadband. This position is responsible for record keeping of IT equipment, software licensing, Sarbanes-Oxley testing and compliance reporting, as well as maintaining documentation on station networks and configuration. This position works closely with Engineering & Operations staff on broadcast production, automation, and traffic computer systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
2+ years of hands on IS/IT experience with exceptional critical thinking and solid customer service skills. Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced 24/7 broadcast environment. Proven experience working with: Microsoft Enterprise Servers; Microsoft Windows Operating Systems; Mac OS; Linux OS; Microsoft Exchange and other mail applications (local and remote); Microsoft Active Directory; Cisco router management and configuration; Firewalls; VPNs; Domain Controllers; configure and manage SAN/NAS systems, and SNMP monitoring systems.
Preferred:
Understanding of TV Operations/Production and working knowledge of Operations and Engineering. Solid written communication, systems documentation and training skills. Valid US Driver’s License.
