This paid 6-month internship will focus on all we do in the Creative department from answering RFPs, developing world class advertising and social strategies and creative concepts, discovering and acquiring videos and images for brands to use in campaigns.
The selected intern will be based in our Dublin headquarters, where they will work with our global brands team.
You’ll be trained on our state-of-the-art technology and learn our processes for finding, verifying and acquiring social media content from around the world for brands and agencies.
Our interns work as fully-fledged members of the team, so all we ask is that you come in ready to learn and take direction from day one.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• An excellent command of English is a prerequisite.
• An interest in research and analytics is required.
• Familiarity and strong understanding of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Google +, Tumblr, etc.
• Excellent computer skills, including Office, Powerpoint and Google Docs.
• Video Production &/ or design skills are required.
• Degree in communications, design or marketing preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Completing in-depth training with the Storyful staff, including understanding of other departments besides brands
2. Contribute to in-depth and industry-leading intelligence reports and newsletters for global clients, learning bespoke external and external tools.
3. Develop advanced searches and creative approaches to discover content of high value to brands. Track, identify and present content for brands on an ongoing basis
4. Conduct research based on requests from clients or internal sales and business-development teams and deliver briefs on discoveries in a timely, clear manner
5. Learn the RFP (request for proposal) process from a creative standpoint, from organising brainstorms to writing responses, working on decks and PDFs.
6. Write scripts, art direct videos, develop creative content strategies for clients across diverse verticals.
7. Coordinate and run live events such as media walls and live blogs
8. Work with Product team to test and develop creative tools.
