Account Executive, Olympics - Snapchat Partnership

Responsibilities
NBCU/Snapchat Partnership Overview:
Since the announcement of a partnership in 2015, NBCUniversal has partnered with Snapchat to create new, repeatable offerings for clients by leveraging the joint scale, millennial audiences and dominant social footprint created between the two companies. The goals of the partnership are to collaborate on content, technology and sales, create new value and opportunities for clients, and drive incremental revenue while incorporating key growth learnings for the Winter Olympics in 2018.
Role Summary
The NBCU-Snapchat Sales Account Executive will play a critical role within our fast paced advertising sales team, with a focus on driving revenue through the direct sales of NBCU-Snapchat branded content advertising solutions. This role will report directly into to the SVP of Sports, managing relationships with clients and media agencies and collaborating with key stakeholders across the NBCU and Snapchat organizations in order to meet revenue goals. Advanced knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and ability to operate effectively at the cross-section of traditional and new media are critical to achieving success in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Drive advertising sales of NBCU-Snapchat partnership, developing new digital and social-first revenue opportunities that clearly prove new value for clients
• Develop and lead day-to-day sales strategy; develop target lists, lead client and agency outreach and be in market often with NBCU-Snapchat opportunities
• Understand customer needs and provide feedback and market input that will strengthen our NBCU-Snapchat opportunities and value proposition (including input on marketing materials for greater sales teams to leverage for pitching NBCU-Snapchat programs in the marketplace)
• Field proactive NBCU-Snapchat Partnership requests; collect, manage and route RFP requests to key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
• Track revenue of the NBCU-Snapchat Partnership and establish a regular cadence for reporting on progress
• Partner with internal teams (Digital and TV sales leads, Network Partnerships, Programming, Legal, Research, etc.) and Snapchat (Sales, Brand Strategy, Creative, Research, etc.)
• Host ongoing education and training sessions across NBCUniversal and Snapchat to foster information sharing on value proposition, product offerings and state of the Partnership
• Develop strong relationships throughout NBCU and Snapchat organization
Qualifications/Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant direct selling experience in Digital Advertising Sales, preferably Mobile Sales
• Deep knowledge of the digital media / social media ecosystem, including advertising models
• Previous experience working in a team environment and a strong passion for the Olympics
• Previous experience and success in working for multi-media sales organization.
• Proven experience in prospecting new clients, generating sales leads and closing the sale
• Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Advanced client-facing skills, ability to clearly articulate value positions and experience presenting integrated marketing programs to clients/leading brainstorms
• Ability to synthesize ideas from group discussions and articulate them verbally/in writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully operate within a large organization, effectively communicating with executives, interdepartmental teams and external clients
• Adaptable in the face of constant change and ability to perform at a high level; identifying solutions when faced with challenges
• Exceptional with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and Keynote
