The Creative Project Manager, with print and digital traffic experience, is a key member of the Creative Design and UX (CDUX) Team.
S/he is responsible for the efficient management of the creative-production workflow and participating in the planning of the project. S/he is a detail-oriented self-starter who is skilled and experienced in collaborating with all relevant teams to facilitate seamless execution and creative excellence. Particular focus on resource allocation, schedule facilitation, workload balance, and change management.
Main Responsibilities:
• Design and implement disciplined and consistent project workflows
• Develop and maintain proper timelines for all projects
• Enforce an on-time and orderly workflow, holding individuals accountable to milestones and agreements
• Route for approval and collect feedback on creative at various stages of development
• Define and maintain true workload capacity; assign resources according to applicable skills, workload balance, and project scope
Skills:
• Strong technical, process analysis, documentation and mapping skills.
• Proven problem solver with expert knowledge of studio workflow best practices
• Unflappable, with the ability to bring a sense of calm assurance to high-energy interactions
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, listening, and communication skills: Ability to negotiate a complex organizational structure and drive consensus across stakeholders.
• Ability to construct workable solutions when presented with multiple and, often times, conflicting points of view
• Experience with spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and electronic workflow software
§ Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project.
§ Proficiency in MS Office and Google G-Suite.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Minimum BA/BS in a Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Logistics, or education-related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on studio and traffic management is a must
• Broad experience working directly in a high-volume, fast-paced, constantly changing studio environment
• Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time
• Minimum 3 years of project/process management, operations or strategy analyst experience.
• Experience managing complex projects through all phases of the project lifecycle to a successful conclusion (on time, on budget, benefits delivered).
• Familiarity with educational technology and/or publishing is a plus.
• PMP Certification a plus.
• Process Management and/or certification a plus.
