Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Role Purpose
The Media Coordinator will provide day-to-day support for an editorial team working in a shared storage environment with integrated asset management.
Responsibilities
Day to day execution of media management plan developed by senior manager
Transcode and ingest files from multiple camera formats
Manage file transfer site with both public and private folders
Maintain and purge file systems
Stay current on all post production techniques and workflows
Import music and graphic files on Avid non-linear editors
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Television Production or related field
Minimum two (2) years’ of operations experience including familiarity with use of Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay Media asset management software
Minimum two (2) years’ experience supporting Windows operating environment
Additional Qualifications
Working knowledge of Mac OS
High level of proficiency working with digital media file formats, such as .MXF, .MOV, .RD3, .PSD, etc., and file conversion
Strong knowledge of external client delivery platforms
