Responsibilities
NBC News Digital is seeking a motivated Audience Development Assistant Manager who can develop and execute campaigns to drive audience to NBCNews.com, TODAY.com and MSNBC.com. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in paid media, newsletter acquisition and SEO. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Major Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
• Develop and manage paid digital campaigns for SEM, display, and social advertising
• Drive campaign optimization by testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and shifting resources to top performing campaigns
• Drive newsletter growth
• Analyze subscriber engagement and devise/execute strategies for long-term subscriber retention and re-engagement
• Assist with various nonpaid audience acquisition projects (Recirculation, SEO, partnerships, etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Comprehensive understanding of each element of paid media (bid management across platforms, keyword targeting, quality score optimization, copy writing, landing page development)
• Experience buying media in social channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills capable of analyzing and reacting to digital performance data
• Experience with web analytics tools including Omniture and Google Webmaster Tools a plus
• Must be a master at Excel

Desired Characteristics
