Purpose
The Stakeholder Manager will have responsibility for managing the effective delivery and implementation of a global progression and recognition strategy.
The role has three key areas of responsibility;
• Gain recognition of Pearson qualifications with Higher Education Institutions around the world, focusing on the UK and our key markets.
• To build advocacy amongst stakeholder groups for Pearson qualifications as a progression route into Higher Education.
• To develop stakeholder relationships enabling learners internationally to achieve their ambitions through progression opportunities and recognition of our qualifications.
Duties
• Leading on business development activities in relationship to sourcing and engaging with Universities and other stakeholders around the global to secure recognition of Pearson Qualifications.
• Building, maintaining and developing a pipeline for progression and recognition activities in key markets segmented by our stakeholder groups (e.g. Universities, International Governments, Credit Evaluators, Admission Services, Schools, Colleges)
• Provide & source market/competitor intelligence.
• Communicating recognition we have gained amongst regional colleagues and key stakeholder groups.
• Work with marketing teams to articulate proposition and the development of sales and marketing collateral/digital resources.
• Managing budget in line with activities.
• Collect Data on student progression to support the Progression and Recognition strategy and demonstrate efficacy of our qualifications.

Qualifications
Experience
Essential
• Substantial knowledge of the Higher Education landscape
• Experience working with qualifications
• Experience of Business Development
• Experience working with senior decision makers within different stakeholder groups.
• Managing Budgets.
Desirable
• Previous experience working internationally
• Working in a Matrix organisation
Skills
• Excellent communicator
• Influencing skills
• Credibility to engage with stakeholders at a senior level
• Managing multiple projects to deadlines
