Republic Media is seeking a Client Strategy Managerto work with local advertisers by understanding their business goals and challenges, compiling and analyzing research to determine opportunities, and developing a strategic execution that will drive results. In this role, the candidate will be trained on the latest market research tools, leverage research to provide market overviews, segment information and/or proprietary data as needed for specified advertisers. The Client Strategy Manager works to understand clients’ business goals and objectives and the media landscape in order to provide solutions that work.

This in-house team provides marketing consultancy services including strategy, planning, research and creative design to important clients of Republic Media. Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic advertising recommendations to clients based on understanding of business, target audiences and goals
• Utilize local and national research tools and programs to compile and analyze data
• Build presentations and present information, research, ad concepts or other elements to clients
• Possess a solid understanding of digital media and how advertisers can utilize it to drive results for their businesses
• Develop and grow relationships with key assigned advertising clients
• Produce creative briefs and work with creative teams on message development
• Assist on other projects as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism or equivalent
• 5 – 8 years of previous experience in a consumer focused marketing role and/or market research experience
• Experience in advertising, working with or for an ad agency or a market/media company is preferred
• Online advertising industry/background desired
• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships with sales team members, management and clients
• Impeccable organizational and project management skills
• Ability to pull research from available tools, analysis and present it internally and externally in a simple and creative format
• Microsoft Office knowledge – advanced user preferred
• Familiar or past experience with research tools – Scarborough, Simmons Experian, Nielsen products, Claritas or other research tools as well as any online survey tools – intermediate or advanced preferred
