Job Description
Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and implementation of the SiriusXM Content Strategy through the day to day relationships with internal and external partnerships. A key stakeholder in developing, negotiating and handling partnership and content ideas with partners; ensuring that SiriusXM is first and foremost. Key liaison across verticals to ensure that the messaging is cohesive, contractual obligations are met, and rights management for all intellectual property is properly handled. Create and pitch possible partnerships to brands, external partners, and internal stakeholders. Possesses the ability to find unique and new ways to market SiriusXM with external partners. Will work closely together with digital, press, and brand resources to ensure that content is being marketed on brand across owned and third party channels including, but not limited to: printed materials, digital activations, television spots, third party coverage (video and social/digital). Consistently be researching ways to cross-promote our properties, increase brand awareness and engagement rates with our core consumer, while also being mindful of growing and developing our consumer target.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a co-lead in developing a strategy, benchmarks, KPIS, and ways to showcase how content can drive growth, revenue, and consumer engagement.
• Serve as the main contact between content marketing and internal and external partners (as designated), as it pertains to partnership opportunities.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in brainstorming, pitching, and presenting content opportunities across verticals internally and with third party partners and brands.
• Partner with the digital team to develop compelling content opportunities to be used for various marketing purposes in owned and third party channels.
• Supervise a direct report, balancing the delegation of appropriate tasks as well as the recruitment and review of interns.
• Evaluate and explore systems, processes, and levels of standardization to assist the team/company achieve its goals and objectives year over year.
• Research and develop relationships with external partners to discuss new ways to partner that maximize brand awareness, monetize content opportunities, and increase distribution capabilities.
• Create clear synergy and communication between various departments for large company initiatives (Free Listening, Preview Channel, Holiday, Channel Changes, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Responsible for management of a Content Marketing Associate Manager and department interns.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in sports, media, and/or entertainment partnerships and/or strategic content roles. Experience in radio/television experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Must have solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
